Why are suhr guitars so good

Also I noticed three switches. I know one has to be the toggle, but what are the other 2? Right on the money, 7 string, and it has optional active pickups unnecessary , so the bottom two control knobs are treble and bass for the active and the top two are volume and tone.

Suhr make around 6 or guitars per year apart from the pro range and Tom anderson make around 4 to so they get that hand built and finished treatment that Fender and Gibson just cant do ……………. If you don't at least play the Suhr it will be at the back of your mind, making you second think your purchase of a different guitar. In short, you won't be happy with your next purchase unless you at least try one out!!

I have both many CU24s and many Suhrs Stays in tune brilliantly. Different carves are personal tastes Super versitle!! All that could be said about the CU24 too though!!

The first Pensa-Suhr guitars — high-performance instruments with modified Stratocaster silhouettes — were offered around But he was unsatisfied. And so he delved into technical literature and dissected amps until he finally modded a Marshall head to his liking.

Bradshaw was blown away by the modified Marshall, and so was Lukather. Bradshaw then commissioned Suhr to design a three-channel rack-mounted preamp, and in he prevailed upon Suhr to move to California to work for his company, Custom Electronics. The timing was perfect. And so he jumped ship. In California with Bradshaw, Suhr designed the OD amp while also wiring rack systems, modding amps and designing circuitry, among other projects. Suhr and his wife had an infant son at the time and the job security and benefits of working for a large company, and such an important one at that, made it the right move.

At the Custom Shop, Suhr enjoyed some cool projects.
